Meet Amanda Roland,

Amanda has been a pediatric speech-language pathologist (SLP) and feeding specialist in North County San Diego for 14+ years. She has experience providing therapy across all settings, including in-clinic, in-home (sometimes at the park!), teletherapy and at school. Collaborating with families to develop a family-centered approach using a child's unique motivations and strengths is the most important part of a child's success in therapy. When she is not playing with toy cars and dolls in therapy sessions, Amanda is a mom to two little super-girls who inspire her daily (sometimes challenging her sanity!). She is an energetic, compassionate "disney character" SLP who loves what she does. With a background in dance and music, Amanda also enjoys incorporating movement and dance into therapy whenever possible.

Amanda has specialized certifications in Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) through Meaningful Speech and she is an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS). She has also participated in multiple feeding courses such as "Mealtime Peace" with the Get Permission Institute, An Integrated Approach to Pediatric Feeding (AEIOU) and multiple others.
